A few days ago, I went to a choire concert with a singer friend of mine. I thought it was gonna be a total snooze-fest, but, to my great surprise, it was pretty interesting to listen to. I caught myself falling into my usual creative dazes every 2 minutes or so. I got a really random idea about a crazy art project consisting of a few individual pictures that have a specific order and tell a story. Like an anime-inspired comic of sorts... Anywho... The story is about a skinny, pale teenage girl, Hitomi, who always wears a huge pair of black sunglasses completely hiding her eyes (wich is pretty ironic, since her name means 'upil of the eye' or 'the eye' in Japanese). Her story is a very odd one, as she herself is a bit of an outkast. As most of my art, it's full of symbolism and hidden meanings. Hitomi's story focuses on the emotional problems and insecurities of a moden-day teenage girl, emphesising her twisted view of the world and social conventions.
